Kosovo faces economic pressures and institutional paralysis risks as regional tensions and international legal developments unfold.

In Kosovo, diesel prices reached 1.72 euros per liter, approaching historic highs despite stable gas rates. Simultaneously, Naim Jakaj of the Kosovo Law Institute warned that parliamentary deadlocks have put 24 independent state agencies at risk of non-functionality, up from 17 previously reported.

In judicial matters, the Kosovo Judicial Council met to address requests from Kosovo Serb judges seeking to withdraw their 2022 resignations following an initiative by acting President Albulena Haxhiu. Across the border, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić urged newly commissioned military officers to defend territorial integrity, stating that Kosovo belongs to Serbia "according to the Constitution and God's justice."

Internationally, member states of the International Criminal Court voted with 82 votes in favor to remove Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan over sexual misconduct allegations.
