The Kosovo Judicial Council met to review Serb judges' withdrawal requests as political gridlock threatens 24 state agencies, while diesel prices rose to 1.72 euros per liter.

The Kosovo Judicial Council convened to review requests from Kosovo Serb judges and support staff attempting to withdraw resignations submitted in 2022, following a prompt by acting President Albulena Haxhiu. Concurrently, Kosovo Law Institute researcher Naim Jakaj warned that political deadlock threatens 24 independent state agencies with operational paralysis.

In Belgrade, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić told newly commissioned officers to defend what he termed Serbia's "sacred land," signaling ongoing tensions over Kosovo. Meanwhile, local economic pressures increased as Kosovar diesel prices reached 1.72 euros per liter, marking the highest rate recorded since May.

Internationally, member states of the International Criminal Court voted 82 in favor to dismiss Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan following an inquiry into sexual misconduct allegations.
