The Kosovo Judicial Council met to consider Serb judges' resignations, while political gridlock threatens 24 state agencies and Belgrade rhetoric escalates.

The Kosovo Judicial Council convened to evaluate applications from Kosovo Serb judges seeking to revoke resignations submitted in 2022, following a prompt from acting President Albulena Haxhiu. Simultaneously, Kosovo Law Institute researcher Naim Jakaj warned that political deadlock in parliament threatens 24 state institutions with operational paralysis. Meanwhile, local economic pressures mounted as diesel prices surged to 1.72 euros per liter, marking the highest level since May.

In Belgrade, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić called on newly commissioned military officers to protect what he described as Serbia's "sacred land," in a clear reference to Kosovo.

Internationally, member nations of the International Criminal Court voted 82 in favor to dismiss Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct.
