Former Slovenian international Aleš Čeh and forward Jan Mlakar have shared insights into their careers, coaching roles, and Maribor's position ahead of upcoming derby fixtures.

Former Slovenian national team captain Aleš Čeh has reflected on his transition into coaching, highlighting more than a decade spent as an assistant to manager Srečko Katanec, including seven years working in Asia. Čeh expressed continuing affinity for Olimpija Ljubljana and Austrian side Grazer AK, alongside respect for Maribor.

Meanwhile, forward Jan Mlakar addressed his third spell with Maribor, voicing confidence in the leadership of Zlatko Zahovič and Darko Milanič. Mlakar dismissed past transfer rumors, stating he was "never close to signing" with rival club Olimpija Ljubljana.
