Former Slovenian national team captain Aleš Čeh and striker Jan Mlakar have provided updates on their respective football careers in recent interviews. Čeh reflected on his transition into coaching following a distinguished playing career, highlighting his long-standing tenure as assistant to manager Srečko Katanec, which included seven years working in Asia. While maintaining fond ties to former clubs Olimpija Ljubljana and Grazer AK, Čeh expressed enduring respect for rival team NK Maribor.
