Former Slovenian national team captain Aleš Čeh and forward Jan Mlakar have shared perspectives on their careers and the state of Slovenian football. Čeh, who skippered Slovenia during its initial international tournament appearances, spoke about transitioning into coaching following a career with clubs including Olimpija, Grazer AK, and Maribor. He served as an assistant to manager Srečko Katanec for over a decade, spending seven years coaching in Asia.

Meanwhile, 27-year-old striker Jan Mlakar discussed his third stint with Maribor. Born in Ljubljana, Mlakar clarified that joining local rival Olimpija was never under consideration.
