Ukrainian drone strikes across Russian regions and Crimea leave multiple dead, while Russian forces target Zaporizhzhia.

Ukrainian cross-border attacks targeting several Russian regions and Russian-controlled territories have left multiple casualties, according to local authorities and media reports. Strikes involving unmanned aerial vehicles hit locations near Gelendzhik on the Black Sea coast and areas in Crimea, resulting in at least 11 deaths, including three children. Additional drone strikes were reported near Moscow and in the Belgorod region, causing further fatalities and injuries.

Simultaneously, Russian forces launched guided glide bombs at residential areas in Zaporizhzhia, killing at least one person and wounding dozens. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed Moscow has redirected air defense systems from the front lines to establish three protective rings around Moscow and Saint Petersburg to shield against long-range strikes.
