Ukrainian drone strikes hit a Black Sea beach near Gelendzhik, leaving multiple civilians dead, while Russian glide bombs struck Zaporizhzhia.

Ukrainian drone strikes targeted areas in southern Russia and occupied territories, striking a resort area in Gelendzhik along the Black Sea coast. Local officials in Krasnodar Krai reported that drone debris fell on a crowded beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka, killing at least six to seven people, including three children, and injuring approximately 40 others. Russian authorities characterized the incident as a deliberate attack against civilians.

Broader Ukrainian drone attacks across the region, including in Crimea and Belgorod, brought the overall death toll to at least 11, according to media reports. Meanwhile, Russian forces dropped eight glide bombs on residential neighborhoods in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia, killing one person and wounding dozens of others.
