Trump and Zelenskyy discuss air defense strengthening at White House

During a bilateral meeting at the White House, US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed strategies to strengthen Ukraine's air defense capabilities against ongoing Russian missile strikes.

The talks occurred alongside a scheduled meeting between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as a memorial service for the late US Senator Lindsey Graham, who was a prominent advocate of American support for Kyiv. Following his meeting with Trump, Zelenskyy is expected to hold discussions with members of the US Senate.

Meanwhile, Kremlin officials stated that Moscow has received no formal communication regarding new peace proposals discussed during the Washington meetings.
