Donald Trump to meet Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington

US President Donald Trump hosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House on Tuesday ahead of a memorial service for the late US Senator Lindsey Graham. Trump is also scheduled to hold a separate bilateral meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the visit.

The bilateral meetings coincide with the funeral of Graham, who was a prominent advocate for American support to Ukraine. Zelenskyy's talks with Trump follow ongoing discussions regarding potential diplomatic frameworks to resolve the conflict with Russia. Kremlin representatives noted that Moscow has not been formally notified of any new peace initiatives being discussed in Washington.

Meanwhile, Trump's meeting with Netanyahu marks their first face-to-face encounter since the outbreak of hostilities in the Middle East, following reported diplomatic tensions between the two leaders. Zelenskyy is also expected to meet with members of the US Senate.
