German authorities are searching for a suspect with alleged Islamist ties after a vehicle struck a crowd at Berlin's Christopher Street Day in Tiergarten park on Saturday evening.

The incident left one person dead and at least 15 others injured, with three in critical condition. Reports also cited potential knife attacks at the scene. Police suspended the Pride celebrations shortly before 10:00 p.m. while emergency services treated victims and secured the area.
