Deadly strikes and drone attacks hit Ukraine and Russia amid fierce fighting

Cross-border aerial bombardments and intense frontline combat continue between Ukrainian and Russian forces, resulting in significant casualties and infrastructure damage across multiple regions.

In Ukraine, Russian strikes on Kharkiv killed at least ten people and wounded eight, damaging residential buildings, commercial sites, and vehicles. An overnight attack on Kyiv left nine people dead and dozens injured. Meanwhile, Russian forces attempted tactical breakthroughs along the Kharkiv axis, while Ukrainian troops pressed forward in southern Donetsk.

Simultaneously, Ukrainian drone operations targeted multiple Russian regions. Drone strikes in Moscow Oblast killed five people, injured at least ten, and ignited warehouse fires. Another logistics warehouse caught fire in Leningrad Oblast following drone activity. In Krasnodar Krai, seven people died and approximately 40 were injured when a drone crashed onto a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka.
