US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over global assassination plots, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage targeting defense firms supporting Ukraine.

United States federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence agents accused of leading a global plot to surveil, attack, and assassinate individuals supporting Ukraine. According to authorities, the suspects recruited operatives across North America and Europe to execute sabotage, arson, and targeted killings, including a June 2024 attack in Prague. All five individuals currently remain at large.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian state actors carried out targeted sabotage against Danish defense contractors supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish officials characterized the acts as a notable escalation in Moscow's ongoing hybrid warfare campaign intended to disrupt Western military assistance to Ukraine.
