US authorities charged five alleged Russian operatives with plotting assassinations of Ukraine supporters, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage against defense suppliers.

United States federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed an indictment against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives for orchestrating assassination plots and sabotage campaigns across Europe and the United States. According to the Department of Justice, the network recruited individuals globally to track and execute attacks targeting supporters of Ukraine, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

In a parallel development, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian operatives carried out targeted sabotage against Danish defense companies supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish authorities stated that these actions reflect an intensifying phase of Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy across Europe.
