US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination and sabotage plots targeting Ukraine supporters, while Denmark reported defense firm sabotage.

The United States Department of Justice has unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of organizing assassination and sabotage schemes across North America and Europe. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan state the suspects recruited individuals to surveil and attack targets perceived to support Ukraine, including orchestrating a June 2024 attack in Prague. All five accused remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian operatives conducted targeted sabotage against Danish defense companies aiding Kyiv. Intelligence officials framed these actions as an intensification of Moscow's hybrid warfare campaign aimed at disrupting Western military support to Ukraine.
