Deadly cross-border strikes hit Ukrainian cities and Russian regions

Lethal aerial strikes and frontline combat have escalated across Ukraine and western Russia. In Ukraine, Russian bombardments struck civilian and commercial sites, killing at least ten people in Kharkiv and nine in Kyiv. Concurrently, Russian forces claimed tactical advances near Artilne and Kostyantynivka, while Ukrainian units pressed forward toward Uspenivka. Belarusian authorities also confirmed the establishment of a new air assault brigade along the Ukrainian border.

Across the border, Ukrainian drone waves hit several Russian regions. Strikes ignited fires at commercial warehouses in Moscow and Leningrad oblasts, leaving five people dead and ten injured in the Moscow region. In Krasnodar Krai, a drone crash on a Black Sea beach near Gelendzhik resulted in seven fatalities and dozens of injuries.
