Deadly cross-border strikes and drone raids escalate across Ukraine and Russia

Russian bombardments and Ukrainian drone strikes have left dozens dead and injured across both countries alongside intense frontline clashes.

In Ukraine, Russian strikes targeted residential and commercial infrastructure, killing at least ten people in Kharkiv and nine in Kyiv, with dozens more wounded. On the battlefield, Russian forces made a localized push near Artilne in the Kharkiv region, while Ukrainian units continued advances toward Uspenivka in southern Donetsk.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone operations struck several Russian regions. In Moscow Oblast, regional officials reported five fatalities and ten injuries after strikes ignited warehouse fires. Another logistics warehouse caught fire near Saint Petersburg. In Krasnodar Krai, seven people were killed and roughly 40 injured when a drone fell onto a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka.
