Cross-border strikes and frontline clashes continue across Ukraine and Russia

Extensive cross-border aerial attacks and intense ground combat have resulted in dozens of casualties across Ukraine and Russia. In northeastern Ukraine, Russian strikes on Kharkiv killed at least ten people and wounded eight, damaging residential buildings, commercial shops, and local infrastructure. In the capital, Kyiv, an overnight Russian assault left nine people dead and dozens injured. Frontline fighting also intensified as Russian troops sought tactical gains on the Kharkiv axis, while Ukrainian forces reported advances in southern Donetsk.

Concurrently, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted multiple Russian territories. In Moscow Oblast, falling debris and drone impacts killed five people and injured at least ten, igniting fires at local warehouses. Another logistics facility caught fire in Leningrad Oblast following drone interceptions. In Krasnodar Krai, seven people died and approximately forty were injured when a drone crashed onto a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka.
