Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russian forces may launch a massive missile strike against Ukraine within 48 hours, citing intelligence from domestic agencies and foreign partners.
The warning coincides with ongoing Russian aerial attacks across the country. In Zaporizhzhia, local emergency services reported that the casualty count from recent guided bomb strikes rose to 30 people, including seven children. Ukrainian air defenses neutralized 81 strike drones and intercepted one of three ballistic missiles targeted at the Kyiv region. Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat confirmed that additional Onyx missiles directed at southern Ukraine failed to strike their intended targets. Additionally, a drone strike damaged a residential building in Kharkiv's Saltivskyi district, leaving at least one person injured.
