President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russian forces are preparing a major missile strike within 48 hours, as Ukrainian defenses down dozens of drones.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has alerted the public to intelligence indicating Russian forces are preparing a major missile strike within 48 hours. The warning comes amid ongoing Russian aerial bombardments across several Ukrainian regions.

Ukrainian air defense forces reported intercepting one of three ballistic missiles fired toward the Kyiv region and neutralizing 81 attack drones. Additionally, Russian forces launched two Onyx missiles aimed at southern targets. Air Force officials noted that high-speed ballistic threats persist nationwide.

The recent strikes caused casualties and structural damage. In Zaporizhzhia, an airstrike injured 30 people, including seven children. Meanwhile, a drone detonation near an apartment complex in Kharkiv wounded one resident and damaged nearby housing.
