Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of a mass Russian strike within 48 hours, while severe wildfires forced 267,000 evacuations in France and Spain.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russian forces have prepared missiles for a new large-scale attack against Ukraine within 48 hours, citing intelligence reports. The warning comes as Russian officials reported eight fatalities, including two children, following an attack on tourist facilities in Kyrylivka, Zaporizhzhia region.

Addressing the ongoing war, Zelensky stated that achieving a ceasefire would be the optimal outcome if it saves human lives rather than enduring decades of conflict.

Elsewhere in Europe, severe wildfires in France and Spain have forced the evacuation of over 267,000 people. Meanwhile, International Criminal Court member states voted to dismiss Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan following allegations of sexual misconduct.
