Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that preliminary data points to Russia's use of a North Korean ballistic missile during a strike on the village of Radushne in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Zelensky noted that further technical analysis would be conducted to verify the weapon's origin, marking what could be the first documented deployment of North Korean weaponry in recent operations.

The strike comes amid sustained Russian aerial bombardment across Ukraine, including earlier attacks on Kyiv that sparked fires in multiple districts. Ukrainian intelligence had previously warned of imminent large-scale missile attacks. Meanwhile, the Kremlin reiterated its stance against freezing the conflict, demanding Kyiv accept Moscow's conditions to end the fighting.
