Zelensky warned of an imminent Russian missile strike, while the ICC voted to dismiss its chief prosecutor and a gas tanker was attacked in Iranian waters.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that intelligence indicates a major Russian missile strike could occur within 48 hours, while noting that a ceasefire saving lives would be preferable to a multi-decade conflict.

In international legal developments, member states of the International Criminal Court voted to dismiss Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan following allegations of sexual misconduct.

Meanwhile, security in the Middle East remains volatile after a missile struck a Mozambique-flagged tanker near the Strait of Hormuz in Iranian waters. The Indian Embassy confirmed its 28 crew members are safe. Concurrently, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Washington is actively negotiating with Iran to end hostilities, claiming Iranian officials are taking discussions more seriously.
