A joint US-Ukraine deal to co-produce Patriot missiles is delayed past winter, while Ukrainian drone strikes hit Russian commercial hubs near Moscow.

A joint agreement between the United States and Ukraine to co-produce Patriot air defense interceptor missiles will not be signed before this winter, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker. Speaking to Fox News, Whitaker noted that while long-term missile manufacturing faces delays, Washington continues working with Kyiv and European allies to develop alternative air defense systems.

Concurrently, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted Russian commercial logistics hubs overnight. Regional authorities reported that attacks hit facilities operated by Wildberries, Russia’s prominent online retailer, across the Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Tver regions. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed that a strike near the capital killed at least five people and wounded ten others. Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed its forces intercepted multiple incoming drones during the barrage.
