US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination plots targeting Ukrainian allies, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage on defense firms.

US prosecutors unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with plotting targeted assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine across Europe and North America. According to federal court documents filed in Manhattan, the suspects recruited an international network to conduct surveillance and execute attacks, including a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five defendants currently remain at large.

Concurrently, officials from Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated at a Copenhagen conference that Russian operatives have targeted Danish defense contractors supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish authorities framed the sabotage as an expansion of Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy intended to undermine Western support for Ukraine.
