US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over plots targeting Ukraine supporters, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage against its defense industry.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed an indictment in Manhattan charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with orchestrating a global campaign of sabotage and targeted assassinations. According to the Department of Justice, the network recruited and paid individuals across Europe and North America to surveil and attack targets perceived as supportive of Ukraine, including executing a June 2024 operation in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported at a security conference in Copenhagen that Moscow has carried out sabotage operations targeting Danish defense firms supplying equipment to Ukraine. Danish officials characterized these incidents as a notable escalation in Russia's ongoing hybrid warfare strategy against European nations assisting Kyiv.
