Ukrainian strikes target Russian aerospace facilities amid heavy eastern front fighting

Satellite imagery and regional officials confirmed missile and drone attacks on Russian industrial sites, including Samara's Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft repair plant. Ukrainian strikes were also reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, with fires noted near the Savasleyka airfield.

On the ground, Ukraine's General Staff recorded over 250 combat engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces made progress south of Dobropillia on the Pokrovsk axis and pushed to bisect Ukrainian positions east of the Oskil River near Kupiansk. Heavy assault operations persisted on the Lyman and Kostyantynivka fronts, while Russian missile strikes hit major Ukrainian metallurgical infrastructure.
