Active combat continues along Ukrainian frontlines, with reported Ukrainian progress near Kupiansk and Lyman alongside Russian claims near Sumy.

Military operations continue across multiple fronts in Ukraine, with conflicting assessments reported from both sides. Russian military officials stated that forces captured several villages near Sumy, alongside strikes against Ukrainian ammunition storage facilities in the Kyiv region.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops have reportedly made territorial progress along the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupiansk. Official announcements are also expected regarding Ukrainian control over nearly 200 square kilometres in the Lyman sector. In the southern region of Zaporizhzhia, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov publicly dismissed claims of Ukrainian tactical advances, maintaining that Russian defensive positions remain stable.
