Ukrainian strikes hit key defense plants in Russia's Samara region as heavy frontline fighting triggered over 250 daily engagements across eastern sectors.

Ukrainian strikes targeted major Russian industrial and military infrastructure, including the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the Aviakor aircraft repair plant in Samara, according to satellite imagery and regional reports. Further aerial attacks were reported across Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov, with potential damage at the Savasleyka airfield. Meanwhile, Russian forces launched a missile strike against a major Ukrainian metallurgical enterprise.

On the eastern front, Ukraine’s General Staff reported 254 combat engagements in 24 hours. Russian forces concentrated assaults in the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors, with over 30 attacks recorded in each. Russian units also expanded their zone of control south of Dobropillia near Pokrovsk and mounted flag-raising operations on the southern Donetsk front to assert territorial gains, while nearing a potential division of Ukrainian positions along the Oskil River near Kupiansk.
