Ukrainian strikes hit Russian aerospace plants as frontline clashes intensify

Ukrainian forces launched long-range strikes targeting strategic industrial and military installations across Russia, including the Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions. Satellite imagery and regional reports confirmed damage to facilities at the Progress Rocket Space Centre in Samara, which manufactures Soyuz carrier rockets, as well as the neighbouring Aviakor aviation plant. Regional authorities acknowledged that local industrial sites came under missile and drone bombardment.

Meanwhile, intense fighting continued across eastern Ukraine, where military officials registered more than 250 combat engagements in a single day. Russian forces pressed offensive operations to breach defensive lines near Lyman and Kostiantynivka, expanded territorial control south of Dobropillya on the Pokrovsk axis, and maintained efforts to split Ukrainian positions along the Oskil River.
