Cross-border air attacks and frontline clashes escalated as Ukrainian drone strikes caused casualties and fires across several Russian regions, while Russian forces struck Kyiv and pressed attacks in eastern Ukraine.

In Moscow Oblast, governor Andrey Vorobyov confirmed five fatalities and ten injuries following strikes on commercial infrastructure. In Leningrad Oblast, air defenses downed 17 drones near Krasny Bor, where falling debris ignited a fire at a Wildberries warehouse and injured one worker. Meanwhile, in Krasnodar Krai, governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported seven deaths—including three children—and roughly 40 injuries after a drone landed on a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka.

Concurrently, Russian strikes targeted Kyiv overnight, leaving nine dead and 33 injured. On the ground, Russian troops reported a tactical breakthrough near Artelne in the Kharkiv region.
