Ukrainian drone strikes cause casualties across Russia as combat escalates

Ukrainian drone strikes across multiple Russian regions have resulted in civilian fatalities and damage to major commercial infrastructure. In Krasnodar Krai, regional officials reported seven deaths, including three children, and around 40 injuries after a drone crashed onto a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka. In Moscow Oblast, warehouse facilities were targeted, leaving five people dead and ten injured. Air defense systems intercepted 17 drones over Leningrad Oblast, though falling debris triggered a fire at a Wildberries logistics complex in Krasny Bor, injuring one person.

Meanwhile, a Russian strike on Kyiv left nine people dead and 33 injured. On the battlefield, Russian troops secured tactical advances near Artelne in the Kharkiv region, while Ukrainian forces continued advancing toward Uspenovka. Additionally, Belarus announced the formation of a new air assault brigade near the Ukrainian border.
