Turkey hosted Teknofest Blue Homeland 2026 in Kocaeli, highlighting indigenous naval hardware, unmanned vehicles, and specialized defense competitions.

Turkey concluded its four-day maritime defense exhibition, Teknofest Blue Homeland 2026, held from August 20 to 23 at the Gölcük Shipyard Command in Kocaeli. Co-organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the T3 Foundation, the event focused on advancing domestic naval capabilities, autonomous platforms, and maritime technologies.

Defense firm FNSS introduced the İ-ZAHA, a modular unmanned amphibious vehicle developed to reduce risks to personnel during high-hazard assault missions. The Turkish Navy also displayed the TCG İmbat, a Kılıç-II class fast attack vessel designed with a low radar signature and capable of reaching speeds of 40 knots. In addition to hardware displays, the event hosted engineering competitions centered on unmanned surface and underwater vehicles to encourage technological innovation within the defense sector.
