Türkiye highlighted its naval capabilities and autonomous maritime tech at the Teknofest Blue Homeland 2026 exposition in Kocaeli.

Türkiye hosted the maritime-focused Teknofest Blue Homeland 2026 at the Gölcük Shipyard Command in Kocaeli from August 20 to 23. Organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the T3 Foundation, the four-day event featured advanced naval platforms, air defense capabilities, and uncrewed maritime systems.

Among the key defense industry exhibits was defense contractor FNSS's modular uncrewed amphibious assault vehicle, the İ-ZAHA, designed to operate alongside crewed landing craft to mitigate operational risks. The Turkish Navy also displayed the TCG İmbat, a Kılıç-II class fast attack craft capable of reaching 40 knots with a specialized hull designed for a reduced radar footprint. Alongside defense hardware, the festival hosted technology competitions targeting uncrewed surface and underwater vehicles to encourage domestic engineering innovation.
