Swedish police detain multiple minors linked to shootings and gang plots
Swedish police have detained several youths linked to violent crimes, including a shooting near a school in Södertälje and a foiled bombing plot in Stockholm.
Swedish authorities have apprehended several youths in connection with recent violent crimes and gang-related plots across the country.
In Södertälje, emergency services discovered an injured minor on Monday evening near a school in the Ronna district. Police arrested three individuals, two of whom are under 15 years old and face allegations of attempted murder and complicity. Investigators continue to gather witness testimony and examine surveillance footage.
In another operation, officers intercepted a young boy reportedly enlisted by criminal gangs to carry out a bombing in Stockholm. The intervention occurred after a school in another region notified law enforcement. Meanwhile, two teenagers remain suspects in an explosion in Bunkeflostrand that reportedly targeted a social media creator.
