Poland celebrated Armed Forces Day with parades in Warsaw and Gdynia as Prime Minister Donald Tusk outlined key national defense and deterrence priorities.

Poland celebrated its annual Armed Forces Day on 15 August, commemorating the 106th anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw with major military events in Warsaw and Gdynia.

During proceedings at the PGZ Naval Shipyard in Gdynia, Prime Minister Donald Tusk outlined four pillars of national deterrence: secure borders, strong international alliances, continuous defense investment, and economic growth. Highlighting modernization efforts under the Miecznik frigate program, Tusk stated that Poland aims to become a "maritime power" to guarantee national security and prevent war.

In Warsaw, celebrations featured large-scale parades of personnel, armored vehicles, and aircraft along Wisłostrada, accompanied by naval demonstrations in the Baltic Sea. Military leadership confirmed full operational readiness following earlier dress rehearsals.
