Ukrainian forces report over 250 daily combat engagements as heavy fighting continues across the Lyman, Pokrovsk, and Kupyansk directions.

Heavy fighting continues across frontlines in eastern and southern Ukraine, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting more than 250 combat engagements in a single day. Intense Russian offensive actions remain focused on the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk directions, where Ukrainian forces repelled dozens of assaults.

Concurrently, Ukrainian infantry executed local counter-operations north of Kupyansk on the right bank of the Oskil River after suppressing Russian drone capabilities with electronic warfare. Ukrainian forces also claim potential gains near Lyman, where independent reports suggest territorial consolidations of up to 200 square kilometres.

Conversely, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have captured several settlements near Sumy. Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov also publicly denied reports of Ukrainian tactical advances in the Zaporizhzhia region.
