Investigators probing an August drone attack attempt targeting Ukrainian cargo planes at Leipzig/Halle Airport have linked the logistics to an operative from Russia's GRU military intelligence agency. Meanwhile, Germany's domestic intelligence service suspects foreign operatives may have hidden weapons caches across the country to enable future covert operations.
In a joint effort with Polish intelligence, German police also detained four individuals, including two Turkish citizens, connected to an arson attack against a Starlink satellite facility in Poland.
