Cross-border drone and missile strikes have claimed lives in both Ukraine and Russia as ground combat and regional tensions continue to escalate.

Cross-border aerial attacks have resulted in multiple casualties across Ukraine and Russia in recent days. Ukrainian drone strikes targeted several Russian regions, causing fatalities in Moscow Oblast and in Krasnodar Krai, where a drone crashed onto a beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka, killing seven people and injuring dozens. Furthermore, falling drone debris triggered fires at e-commerce warehouses belonging to Wildberries in the Leningrad region for a second consecutive night.

In Ukraine, Russian strikes targeted Kyiv, leaving nine people dead and over 30 wounded. On the ground, Russian troops claimed tactical advances near Artelne in Kharkiv Oblast, while Ukrainian forces progressed toward Uspenivka in Donetsk Oblast. Meanwhile, Belarusian authorities announced the formation of a new air assault brigade along the Ukrainian border.
