Cross-border strikes and battlefield clashes leave multiple dead across Ukraine and Russia

Cross-border military action between Russian and Ukrainian forces has escalated, resulting in substantial casualties and infrastructure damage. Ukrainian drone attacks targeting multiple Russian territories killed at least five people and injured ten in Moscow Oblast, while a strike on a beach in Krasnodar Krai left seven dead. Intercepted drones also ignited fires at Wildberries e-commerce warehouses in Leningrad Oblast.

Concurrently, Russian strikes against Kyiv killed nine people and wounded 33 others. On the battlefield, Russian troops secured tactical gains near Artelne in Kharkiv Oblast, whereas Ukrainian units pushed forward toward Uspenivka in Donetsk Oblast. Meanwhile, military authorities in Belarus announced the establishment of a new air assault brigade along the Ukrainian border.
