Albania and Kosovo report security threats, airport dispute, and border arrest

Recent developments in Albania and Kosovo include death threats against PM Edi Rama, opposition criticism over Vlora Airport, and the arrest of a murder suspect.
Security and political developments unfolded across Albania and Kosovo on Tuesday. In Albania, Valon Bela, who was recently declared persona non grata by domestic authorities, published a video message threatening Prime Minister Edi Rama. Meanwhile, opposition Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha publicly accused Rama and senior ministers of corruption regarding the Vlora Airport project, following businessman Behgjet Pacolli's intention to seek international arbitration. Separately, police in Kosovo apprehended Egzon Reshani, a fugitive wanted for attempted murder and other severe crimes, as he tried to flee into Serbia.
