Albanian PM Edi Rama faces a video death threat while opposition leader Sali Berisha raises corruption allegations regarding the Vlora Airport project.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama faces escalating security concerns and political pressure following recent developments in the region. Valon Bela, recently declared persona non grata and expelled by Albanian authorities, posted a video on social media showing heavy weaponry alongside a direct death threat against Rama.

Simultaneously, opposition Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha accused Rama and senior government officials of corruption regarding the Vlora Airport project. The allegations follow businessman Behgjet Pacolli's announcement of plans to initiate international arbitration after the government moved to terminate the project contract.

In neighboring Kosovo, law enforcement officers apprehended fugitive Egzon Reshani near the border while he attempted to escape on foot into Serbia. Reshani was wanted on multiple serious charges, including attempted murder.
