Zelenskyy warns of imminent Russian missile attack as aerial strikes intensify

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russian forces may execute a large-scale missile strike within two days, citing reports from intelligence agencies and international allies. The caution comes as Ukrainian air defense forces reported intercepting 81 attack drones and neutralizing one of three ballistic missiles targeted at the Kyiv region.

Despite air defense efforts, ongoing Russian strikes caused casualties and structural damage across multiple regions. In Zaporizhzhia, an aerial bombardment wounded 30 individuals, including seven children. Meanwhile, a drone strike near an apartment complex in Kharkiv shattered windows and injured one person. Military officials emphasized that high-speed ballistic and supersonic missile threats remain high throughout the country.
