Vučić pledges support for regional Serbs during visit to Bosnia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced €142 million in aid to Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina while honoring victims of Operation Storm in Mrkonjić Grad.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić concluded his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina by visiting his ancestral village of Čipuljić alongside Republika Srpska leader Milorad Dodik and attending a central commemoration in Mrkonjić Grad for Serb victims of Croatia's 1995 Operation Storm.
During the trip, Vučić announced that Serbia has provided €142 million in aid to Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska so far, promising additional support if Serbia exceeds its economic growth targets. Speaking in Mrkonjić Grad, Vučić asserted that Serbia has grown stronger economically and militarily while maintaining military neutrality, adding that the country would "never again" permit any future pogroms against Serbs. He also criticized Montenegro's government for sending a delegate to Croatia's anniversary event in Knin while failing to send a representative to the Serbian victim commemoration.
