Serbia promises further financial aid to Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced €142 million in aid for Serbs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, promising increased support if Serbia's economic growth targets are met.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced on August 2 that Belgrade has so far invested €142 million to support Serbian communities in Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Speaking during a visit to the Rmanj monastery near Bihać, Vučić stated that future financial backing would depend on Serbia's economic performance. He noted that if the country's annual economic growth exceeds 4.2 or 4.3 percent this year, Belgrade will provide even more substantial assistance to Serbs in the region. Vučić highlighted that previous projects were implemented in cooperation with Milorad Dodik, leader of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats. He reaffirmed Serbia's ongoing commitment to funding local development initiatives and supporting Serbs across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
