US authorities have charged five alleged Russian operatives over targeted assassination plots, while Denmark reports Russian sabotage against its defense firms.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of directing an international campaign of targeted assassinations and sabotage. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the network financed operatives to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks against individuals aligned with Ukraine, including a June 2024 assault in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian forces carried out targeted sabotage against Danish defense companies supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish officials described these actions as an escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy against nations supporting Ukraine.
