Ukrainian strikes target Russian aerospace sites as eastern frontline clashes intensify
Strikes targeted Russian aerospace sites in Samara and other regions, while over 250 ground clashes were recorded along eastern Ukraine's front lines.
Satellite imagery and regional reports have confirmed strikes on Russian industrial facilities in the Samara region, impacting sites tied to the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the Aviakor aviation plant. Regional officials acknowledged aerial attacks across several territories, including Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov, with additional strikes reported near the Savasleyka military airfield.
Simultaneously, intense fighting continued across eastern Ukraine, where Ukrainian military officials reported more than 250 combat engagements over a 24-hour span. Russian forces focused offensive operations on the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors, pressing defensive positions near Dobropillia and advancing toward Ukrainian footholds along the Oskil River.
