Ukrainian forces damaged Russian patrol ships in Kerch and conducted specialized operations, while satellite imagery shows new defenses at Novorossiysk.

Ukrainian security and military forces have executed several tactical operations against Russian personnel and naval infrastructure. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), in coordination with defense forces, carried out a drone strike in Kerch that damaged two Russian FSB Project 10410 Svitlyak-class patrol vessels, named "Balaklava" and "Kerch".

Meanwhile, Special Operations Forces captured two Russian soldiers in a close-quarters ambush, and the Ukrainian Navy's "Angels" reconnaissance unit evacuated an officer's relatives from occupied territory to counter intimidation by Russian security services.

In response to persistent Ukrainian uncrewed surface vessel threats, satellite intelligence released by the UK Ministry of Defence reveals that Russian forces have installed physical defensive barriers around Project 636.3 Kalibr-capable submarines at the Novorossiysk naval base.
