Ukraine strikes Russian aerospace plants as frontline battles intensify

Ukrainian strikes targeted strategic Russian military and aerospace facilities in Samara, damaging the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the Aviakor aircraft repair plant, according to satellite imagery and regional authorities. Additional aerial attacks were reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, with local reports noting strikes near the Savasleyka airfield.

Simultaneously, intense ground combat continued along the frontline, with Ukraine’s General Staff recording more than 250 combat engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces launched heavy assaults near Lyman and Kostyantynivka while expanding control south of Dobropillia in the Pokrovsk direction. Concurrently, Russian troops conducted a missile strike against a major Ukrainian metallurgical facility.
