Ukrainian forces hit a refinery in Siberia over 2,500 km away, while Russian strikes left 99,000 without power in Chernihiv and devastated Druzhkivka.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a successful long-range strike targeting an oil refinery in Tobolsk, Siberia, located more than 2,500 kilometers from the border. Zelensky framed the deep-strike operations as a effort to demonstrate to Moscow the necessity of ending the war.

Concurrently, Russian bombardments across eastern and northern Ukraine killed at least three civilians and injured nine others. Infrastructure damage left approximately 99,000 subscribers without electricity in northern Chernihiv Oblast. Meanwhile, in Donetsk Oblast, relentless artillery and aerial attacks have severely depopulated the frontline town of Druzhkivka, reducing its population from nearly 56,000 prior to the war to under 4,000 residents.
